Our School
Based in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Ambassador Preparatory (AP) is a private international preparatory junior high school (6th,7th, 8th, 9th grades). AP offers a highly rigorous, pre-AP focused, traditional curriculum that prepares students for the finest high schools in the US. AP also offers a truly international learning atmosphere with a highly diverse student body encompassing students from all over the world.

Our Students.
AP attracts students who possess high academic abilities from a diverse cross section of local and international communities. We serve students from backgrounds in both public and private education, home schooling, gifted and talented programs, language immersion programs and multi-cultural families. Each student brings their personal experience and history to share and complement our diverse student body.
Our Program.

Based on an East Coast boarding school model. AP blends a traditional, highly rigorous curriculum with an inspiring international atmosphere that is found nowhere else in the Midwest.
We focus on developing the entire student through a comprehensive approach to every student's development.
All students enter pre-AP courses to prepare them for the rigors of a demanding private/AP high school curriculum.
To ensure this each student's academic, social and behavioral progress is closely monitored, as well as providing direction on areas of improvement.
AP develops the whole student through its extra-curricular programming where all student are required to participate in athletics and arts programs including soccer, basketball, one-act plays and musicals.
AP's low faculty to student ratio, 3:1, guarantees every student receives the attention and direction needed to guarantee their overall academic success and leadership potential.

Overlooking downtown St. Paul and the Mississippi River AP is a unique "School in the City".
AP's metropolitan neighborhood brings a full spectrum of academic, cultural, athletic and artistic opportunities modernizing the traditional boarding experience.
