Great Books
Great Books is an enrichment program at AP meant to give students additional reading, thinking, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Established in 1947, The Great Books Foundation's mission is to help people think and share ideas. Toward this end, the Foundation publishes collections of classic and modern literature to be used by trained Great Books leaders in reading and discussion programs for students. Teachers of Great Books at AP have been officially trained by the Great Books Foundation to lead Great Books discussion groups.
